The Original Wide Joint format is the definitive translation of Carlo Scarpa’s masterful 1957 Negozio Olivetti floor, which mimics the layout of the Olivetti company's typewriters. In this specific configuration, the mosaic moves beyond traditional surface cladding; it operates as a profound exploration of raw materiality, negative space, and architectural rhythm.

Comprising a field of individual stone tesserae with authentically irregular, artisan-cut edges, the design relies entirely on its substantial grout channels. This intentional spacing elevates the grout from a functional necessity to a critical structural element. By providing a generous frame of negative space around each tessera, the wide joint isolates and magnifies the unique geological movement of the chosen marble or travertine. • Machine-Honed (Terrazzo Finish): The mosaic is overfilled with grout and mechanically honed in situ. This creates a perfectly flat, monolithic surface that feels incredibly sleek and architecturally disciplined—the ultimate specification for high-end residential and commercial floors.

• Calacatta: The pinnacle of Italian luxury. A luminous white ground struck through with warm gold and taupe veining, beautifully framed by the generous grout lines.

• Carrara: The quintessential standard of classical architecture. Its soft white base and delicate, feathery grey tones provide a crisp, refined aesthetic.

• Superwhite: Premium dolomite characterised by dynamic, cloudy grey and white movement. Each tessera acts as a unique snapshot of the stone's profound geological energy.
